Who would have thought that a digital app could be so useful to vinyl lovers.
Introducing "The Vinyl District" app available on Smart phones and Android. Launched last December the app features a record store finding tool which is keyword searchable (helpful when planning a trip to a new city), or GPS-based. It currently lists a bunch of record stores in 25 countries and thanks to everyday users, more are being added all the time. The app also features a calendar for record fairs in the US & UK and a social network of fellow vinyl fans updating commentary on good places to shop and where you can make a great purchase. Considering Record Store Day is only days away this might be a great tool to get the low down on what's going on here, there and everywhere.
