In the spirit of International Womens Day which is today, I thought we would kick off the day with Nervosa an all female thrash metal band from Brazil.
Three piece Nervosa hail from San Paulo. In 2010 Fernanda Earth (Bass) and Prika Amaral were introduced and it was then that they (according to their website) " united their wills to play thrash metal" taking their influence from old-school thrash metal bands, such as SLAYER, SEPULTURA and EXODUS. Nervosa have just released their first official video and are currently working on an album that is due for release later this year.
