Oikos Greek Yoghurt have posted an apology on their Facebook site for the use of a riff almost identical to John Butler Trio riff for "Zebra".
"Almost" is the key thing here. It's "almost" identical. Not entirely note for note.
The facebook message from Oikos Greek Yoghurt contained the following information.
""A question about the music in our Super Bowl commercial has been brought to our attention. We are working to fully understand and address the situation. We apologize for any concerns this has caused John Butler Trio's band members and fans."
The only thing outraged John Butler Trio fans have achieved is free publicity for an american yoghurt company.
