Back by popular demand, EVA- Tales from The Life of Eva Cassidy starring Australia’s very own songbird, Clare Bowditch, returns to the Athenaeum Theatre from 7th February for a limited two-week season.
Clare Bowditch was so affected by the voice of Eva Cassidy that when she heard it for the first time she needed to pull over her vehicle to "Take a moment." Over fifteen years later Bowditch teamed with Jim McPherson to co-write EVA, an uplifting portrayal of Eva’s short life, and what happened after her passing at the age of 33.
Tales From The Life of Eva Cassidy opened in 2011 to a sellout season. Due to popular demand, it is back commencing 7th February. Bowditch will be supported by Ash Naylor and the Blues Alley Band as she tells the story of Eva like no other artist can - with humour, passion, joy and a deep understanding of the musician’s journey.
Undercover.fm received a media release on 12th January 2012 and as such please be advised that "Tales From The Life Of Eva Cassidy" has been postponed for the time being as Bowditch has received an exciting new television commitment.
