Goodness me! If you are under 45 you are younger than "Foxy Lady".
Foxy Lady was recorded by the Jimi Hendrix Experience in 1966 and later released on 1967's "Are You Experienced" Album. In it's time it has been named #152 in Rolling Stone's Top 500 songs of all time and included on the soundtrack to Waynes World to great choreographic effect by Mike Meyers "Wanye".
The original "Foxy Lady " was Kathy Etchingham. Hendrix claims to have met her his first night in London and they continued their relationship until 1969. Hendrix is also know to have said that he did not approach women in the same way as the lyrics would suggest...Too straight forward for a kid from Seattle I guess.
