Spyder Baby frontman Steve Banch, could face jail if he doesn't change the way he runs his dairy farm.
This is not the first time that a member of a metal band has been accused of cruelty to animals.
In an unusual twist the Heavy Metal frontman daylights as a dairy farmer. Officials were called to the property of Steven Banch and found a dead cow which hadn’t been buried, an unlicensed dog at large and animals which should have been fenced in running wild.
Judge Kelley Costin commented "“My concerns were your capabilities as a farmer...." “You have a special obligation to those animals. It’s your responsibility to watch your pigs and cows."
Banch was fined $1500.00, given 15 months probation and ordered to do community service.
Apparently he is happy with the deal stating that his sentence was " A victory for me..." He also added that community service was “a good thing” and “people should do that once a year.”
