Irish power pop stars Ash have completed work on their fifth album, due to hit stores mid-year.
The band have recorded fourteen songs with engineer Michael Brauer (Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Coldplay) and do not have a title for the record yet.It will be their first release since 2004's 'Meltdown', which saw the band have huge success worldwide.
Thanks to hits like 'Girl From Mars', 'Goldfinger' and 'Kung-Fu', the band became one of the pioneers of guitar pop with tinges of punk.
The songs recorded are not in any particular order, and some may be used as b-sides. Their titles are:
