George Michael is on a ventilator, with some reports suggesting he’s battling the life-threatening Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome.
A severe bout of pneumonia has forced the cancellation of all dates for the ‘Symphonica’ tour for the rest of the year as George Michael lies in intensive care in an Austrian hospital.
The doctors looking after him in Vienna have confirmed: “George Michael has severe community acquired pneumonia and is being treated as an inpatient. His condition has stabilized and he is responding to treatment.”
George Michaels partner Fadi Fawaz remains confident that the singer will pull through. “George is smiling through it all and everyone is willing him to get better.”
