More high profile bands have confirmed they will be taking part in the Live Earth global concert series on July 7.
Foo Fighters, Bloc Party, Snow Patrol, Fall Out Boy, Lenny Kravitz, Duran Duran and Keane will join the likes of Bon Jovi, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill for the simultaneous event, which will take place on all seven continents, including Antarctica.Organised by leading environmental activist Al Gore, Live Earth is planned as a Live Aid-style concert series, with an aim to raising global awareness about climate change.
Concerts are already confirmed for Sydney, Shanghai, Johannesburg and London. There will also be concerts held in cities in the United States, Brazil and Japan. Live Earth is expected to reach a global audience of 2 billion.
