The British new romantic band are coming together and heading Down Under for New Year’s Eve in Sydney.
It’s been ten years since the four-piece group reunited for their 20th anniversary concert at London's Royal Albert Hall in 2002.
Now the 80’s band is working on a new album to celebrate their 30th year. The album is expected sometime in 2012. Boy George and the boys have promised to play all their classic hits on New Years Eve plus some of their new songs. "That's the thing that makes us want to come back and do it, is to write new songs and put some new material out as well as play the old ones”, said Roy Hay to Seven's Sunrise on Tuesday.
Who doesn’t feel like dancing when "Karma Chameleon" and "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me" blast out of the speakers? The New Year's Eve event will be held on Glebe Island, Sydney. SPECTACULAR!
Culture Club will be joined Jamiroquai, Pet Shop Boys, as well as Australia’s very own Guy Sebastian, Pseudo Echo and Lyndsey Ollard
Tickets on sale November 28.
