Canadian pointy headed noodle-rockers Rush are gearing up to release their first album of entirely new material in five years.
The album will be entitled 'Snakes and Arrows' and will hit stores on May 1st (or thereabouts if you're not in the US of A).The band will also head out on the road for the first time since 2004's 30th Anniversary Tour, although no dates have been announced as of yet.
Rush released their first album in 1974 and have since attracted diehard fans and unwanted attention from those who don't take their virtuoso approach to rock 'n' roll quite so seriously.
Of course those who don't take Rush so seriously probably aren't taken so seriously by Rush - the band have sold over 35 million albums in their career.
