Jeff Bridges will release an album next week.
It’s not the first time Bridges has been on record. He won an Academy Award for his performance of country singer Otis Blake in ‘Crazy Heart’ in 2009. Back in 1989 he played a jazz singer in ‘The Fabulous Baker Boys’.
In 2000 he also released the indie album ‘Be Here Soon’ and received favourable revues
The new self-titled album is through jazz label Blue Note but has more of a Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers feel to it.
