The sunny indie rock band Best Coast have released their indie-star-studded, Drew Barrymore-directed video clip.
Barrymore directed her first film, Whip It, in 2009, and now she’s directed her first video clip for hazy stoner pop outfit Best Coast.
The clip is like a little West Side Story, featuring movie star Chloe Moretz from Kick-Ass, and TV actors Donald Glover from Community, Tyler Posey from Teen Wolf, Miranda Cosgrove from iCarly, and Alia Shawkat from Arrested Development.
The video is for the song ‘Our Deal’, from Best Coast’s 2010 debut Crazy For You.
It’s part of MTV’s “Supervideo” series where they team up tragically cool musical acts and directors.
