Kings Of Leon singer Caleb Followill left the Dallas stage to vomit, and never returned, leaving the band in the lurch.
Antiquiet reports that the band played “a handful” of songs before Caleb told the crowd, “I’m gonna go backstage for a second, I’m gonna vomit, I’m gonna drink a beer, then I’m gonna come back out and play three more songs”.
But audience members claimed that Caleb was too intoxicated to perform, and the band didn’t return to the stage.
His kinfolk Nathan and Jared Followill were both very unhappy about the incident.
Nathan tweeted “So sorry Dallas, your heat got the best of a few of us. I'm so sorry for the inconvenience of all this bullshit. We'll be back soon.”
Jared was a little less diplomatic, tweeting “Dallas, I cannot begin to tell you how sorry I am. There are internal sicknesses & problems that have needed to be addressed. No words.”
Caleb tweeted his apologies: "I'm so sorry for all of this. The heat was excessive. And unbearable. We will be back soon. I promise."
Whether it was the heat or a tired and emotional Caleb, as audience members claimed and Jared alluded to, the Kings are none too happy.
