Gotye will tour with a 10-piece orchestra in support of his next album ‘Making Mirrors’.
Following the success of the 2007 orchestrated mini-tour of 2007, the 2011 orchestra tour will recreate the music of Gotye in a live setting.
Wally de Backer (Gotye) will front the orchestra including a midi marimba, drums, 3-piece horn section, keyboards, guitar, bass, percussion, drum-kit and backing vocals.
The first single from the ‘Making Mirrors’ album was ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’ featuring Kimbra. It is currently Triple J’s most played song.
