When Miles Hunt of The Wonder Stuff turned 40, the band performed at the party at the Half Moon, Herne Hill in London.
The year was 2006. The song they played was ‘Don’t Let Me Down Gently’ from the 1989 album ‘Hup’.
The album came out at the height of the Young Ones craze on TV and featured many references to the show. The song ’30 Years In A Bathroom’ borrowed The Young Ones line ‘now its time to share that joke that the latch on the bathroom door was broke”.
