Storied Sydney synth pop act PNAU ramp up for their fourth album.
While the duo of Nick Littlemore and Peter Mayes have already got floors pumping over three albums, PNAU have been missed over the last four years due to a lot of extracurricular activity.
Particularly from Littlemore, who not only found massive acclaim for Empire Of The Sun, but also through working on a Cirque de Soleil soundtrack and “apprenticing” with Elton John around producing for other artists.
But now they’re back with the fourth album, Soft Universe.
It features co-writes with Elton, Martin Craft and Mark Saunders and has been described by Littlemore as a very “emotional” break-up album.
They’ve already released two singles from the album, ‘The Truth’ and ‘Solid Ground’, will play Splendour, and have just signed on for Homebake.
You can check out a handful of ‘Solid Ground’ remixes at their Facebook page here.
Soft Universe will come out on July 22.
