will.i.am is putting The Black Eyed Peas away for awhile.
The 'Where is the Love?' group's leader, will.i.am, confirmed when they have finished their current tour this weekend, the band will go on a break - although he urged fans not to worry, as they will return.
Referring to the group's albums 'Monkey Business', 'The E.N.D' and latest offering 'The Beginning', he tweeted: "The @Bep will take a break after the beginning...just like we did from monkey business to the e.n.d...but it doesn't mean we stop creating (sic)."
Speaking at the band's show at Alton Towers Amusement park in Staffordshire, England's midlands, last night (06.07.11), singer Fergie told the crowd: "This is a very special show for us because it is the last time we're going to be in England for a long time.
"We want you to know that we love you and thank you for the support you've given from the beginning."
While on hiatus, will.i.am is expected to continue his work as a record producer, while Fergie may resume her solo career.
It unknown what the group's other members, apl.de.ap and Taboo are planning, but apl.de.ap is both a DJ and has charity interests, while Taboo became a father for the third time in April.
