Melodramatic indie poppers Sparkadia have booked a national tour with Canadian support Imaginary Cities.
The band is celebrating their yearning new single ‘Mary’ from their second, top ten charting album The Great Impression.
The project for Sydney-sider Alex Burnett has been hailed critically for it’s ultra-melodic songwriting and ambition and the live show has also garnered plaudits.
They’ll be joined by Canadian act Imaginary Cities, whose Temporary Resident album topped the Canadian College charts before even being released and who opened for The Pixies for their North American tour this year.
Note that Imaginary Cities won’t be able to make it for the first two WA shows and the Central Coast gig.
Tickets will go on sale from 9am next Friday 8 July.
