Mary J. Blige has won three R&B Grammys, including Best R&B Album for 'The Breakthrough'.
Her hit tune 'Be Without You' also garnered her the Best R&B Song and Best Female R&B Vocal Performance prizes. John Legend won the Best Male R&B Vocal Performance Grammy for his tune 'Heaven' from the 'Once Again' album.Legend also picked up the Best R&B Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals award with Sly & The Family Stone for 'Family Affair' from the 'Different Strokes By Different Folks' album.
Beyonc??'s 'B'Day' album took out the Best Contemporary R&B Album prize, whilst the Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance was deemed to be George Benson and Al Jarreau's 'God Bless The Child' (featuring Jill Scott). Gnarls Barkley's hit tune 'Crazy' won for Best Urban / Alternative Performance.
