Epitaph Records has departed Shock and headed over to Warner.
The distribution deal with the label founded by Bad Religion guitarist Brett Gurewitz gives Warner a rock solid roster of artists like Alkaline Trio, Falling In Reverse and Marketa Irglova as well as upcoming released for New Found Glory, Tom Waits and Wilco.
Epitaph will also release Big Talk, the new band from The Killers’ Ronni Vannucci, and their first Australian signing Dangerous!.
“We are pleased to announce our agreement with Warner Music Australia,” says Epitaph Records General Manager, Dave Hansen. “Tony Harlow and the Warner Music team have made a great commitment to supporting us while respecting our independence, and love our music. We look forward to working with them on distributing our catalogue in Australia and New Zealand.”

The deal will take affect on September 1, 2011, ending a 20 year association with Shock Records in Australia.
