Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend have announced that The Who will embark on a 28-date European tour staring in May.
The pair played a four-song acoustic set at the press conference in London on Thursday. The tour kicks off on May 8 in Lisbon, making its way through 14 countries before the final date in Helsinki on July 9.The pair were asked about the state of their current working relationship, to which Daltrey jokingly responded, "Our relationship is back in the middle, it isn't up or down, it's there in the middle. We're working on making it go down."
When asked about potential support acts, Townshend cited retro-rockers Wolfmother as well as Liverpool band Shack as suitable candidates.
The tour is highlighted by the band's Sunday headline spot at the Glastonbury festival in June.
