Shania Twain is going back to work after finding a two year job in Las Vegas.
The Canadian country superstar has signed the residency deal to perform at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Vegas starting on December 1, 2012. (That gives her 18 months to get a setlist together).
The Colosseum was built for the Celine Dion residency that lasted for five years. Celine returned to the venue this week for a series of shows until the end of July and she will perform about 70 shows a year there until 2014. Elton John and Rod Stewart have also headlined the venue.
"This past year has been such an amazing journey and to find myself poised to play at The Colosseum is truly magical," said Shania. "The Colosseum is an iconic location with unmatched energy, and I'm excited to bring a pop/country spin to the city. People from all over the world travel to Las Vegas and I'm so thrilled to be able to share my music with a truly global audience."
The Colosseum is a 4,300 capacity venue on the Vegas strip.
