Everyone's favourite sensitive Nebraskan, Conor Oberst, has released the details of the sixth Bright Eyes album.
'Cassadaga' will be released in the United States on April 10 through Saddle Creek. He has again teamed up with producer Mike Mogis and trumpeter Nate Walcott for the follow-up to 2005's simultaneous releases 'I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning' and 'Digital Ash In A Digital Urn'.The release will be preceded by the 'Four Winds' EP, to be released in March. The EP features the lead single from the album, as well as several b-sides taken from the 'Cassadaga' recording sessions.
'Cassadaga' features guest appearances from Gillian Welch, Janet Weiss from Sleater-Kinney and M. Ward. It will be released worldwide through Polydor, though international release dates are yet to be announced.
Bright Eyes will preview the album to North American and European audiences throughout February and March.
