The arsonist who burnt down the office of Jamie Oliver and in doing so damaged the iconic Melbourne venue The Cherry Bar downstairs has been sentenced to five and a half years jail.
Kevan Stralow, 35, appeared at the Victorian County Court before Judge Carolyn Douglas this morning. She noted that Strawlow, a former general manager for Oliver, failed to show remorse.
The Cherry Bar, a popular hang for visiting rock stars, was out of action for 7 months because of the fire.
Cherry Bar owner James Young is today celebrating with a playlist of relevant songs by his favorite band AC/DC – ‘Shot Down In Flames’ and ‘Let There Be Rock’.
The Cherry Bar is in AC/DC Lane, Melbourne.
