Pulp have returned to the stage for the first time since 2002, with the exception of a warm-up show in Toulouse last week.
Cocker and co took to the stage at the Spanish festival of Primavera Sound yesterday (Saturday, May 28) making the start of a world tour taking in mainly festivals.
“This evening is not about ancient history, we are going to make history,” singer Jarvis Cocker told the crowd.
Their set leaned very heavily on their best known album, 1995’s ‘Different Class’, with just over half of the songs being lifted from the Mercury Music Prize winner.
