Soundwave Revolution gives us one more act, and announce some curious venues.
The massive heavy music festival has had venue troubles in the past – you can’t just cram that much punk, rock, metal and hardcore in anywhere.
A few of the venues will be pretty familiar to Soundwave fans – Brisbane’s will happen at RNA Showgrounds, Perth’s at Arena Joondalup, and Adelaide’s at the Showgrounds.
The big moves are in Melbourne and Sydney.
Sydney shook off the outer outer West venue of Calder Park for Old King’s Oval in Parramatta Park
Melbourne goes the other way, moving from the Showgrounds to something called Tabcorp Park in the outer outer West suburb of Melton.
They’ve also compulsively added one more act – North Carolina psot-hardcore unit Alesana.
General public tickets to Soundwave Revolution go on sale next Thursday 2 June.
