Arctic Monkeys have revealed the title, track-list and release date for their new album.
'Favourite Worst Nightmare' is released through Domino in the UK on April 23, preceded a week earlier by new single 'Brianstorm' (nup, that's not a typo).Last year's Mercury Prize-winning debut, 'Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not' became the fastest-selling debut album in UK history, shifting over 360,000 units in its first week of release. It will be interesting to gauge the critical and popular reaction to the follow-up, as the band grapple with 'difficult second album' syndrome.
Frontman Alex Turner has already described the new material as "a bit full-on", and "very different to the last".
Arctic Monkeys are set to headline Glastonbury in June.
