Following the release of his second album, indigenous sensation Gurrumul bring his mesmerising music to the national stage.
Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunupingu became a national sensation with his 2008 Gurrumul album selling double-platinum mostly through word of mouth.
He released his second album Rrakala in April and has now announced a rare series of performances around the nation for late August and early September.
Tickets for these special shows, with the promise of backing musicians to help him realise the songs he solely created on Rrakala, will go on sale on June 1 from his website www.gurrumul.com.
He will be supported on all shows by Tasmanian artist Dewayne Everettsmith.
