Rap star Drake performed at an opulent bar mitzvah after Kanye demanded a cool million to show.
According to the New York Post , the bar mitzvah was organised for the son of former NBC President Jeff Zucker.
Kanye West refused to play for less than $1 million but budding hip-hop star Drake must have a far lower fee, because the entire party cost a measly $250,000.
The bar mitzvah took place at the Four Seasons in New York on the weekend, with guests from big business, as well as US news host Katie Couric.
Guests were given customised Converse sneakers and fine food and wine, and had use of a photo booth, an iPod station and a place to make customised phone covers.
And there were big time names who worked on the lighting, cakes and event planning.
After all that, Drake must’ve been pretty cheap indeed.
