Glee Producer Starts Record Label

Adam Anders, the Swedish born producer of Glee, has started a record label he likes to call Andres Music Records.

Anders first signing is ‘Good Luck Charlie’ star Shane Harper. Harper plays Spencer Walsh in the Disney TV show.

Anders is expected to leverage the exposure of the music in television shows to boost sales of his artist’s records. Harper’s single ‘One Step Closer’ has already been featured in an episode of ‘Good Luck Charlie’.

Despite the strategy, sales for Harper have been mediocre. ‘One Step Closer’ has sold just 3000 units while the album has sold less than 1000 units after 3 weeks on sale.
