Madonna is making plans to record a song with her daughter Lourdes that will feature on her next record.
The song goes by the name of ‘It’s So Cool’ and was first recorded in 2003. It’s first public showing was on the Madonna best of ‘Celebration’, appearing as a bonus track on certain versions of the recording, but on those releases Lourdes’ vocals were removed. This time around it looks like the young singer might make it onto the record.
“Madonna hopes Lourdes will step into her shoes and become one of the biggest female artistes in the world,” The Sun quotes a source as saying. “She is the perfect mentor for her daughter and is keen to assist her first steps into the music industry.”
Lourdes will turn 15 this year. She is Madonna’s oldest child, born to her and Cuban personal trainer and actor Carlos Manuel Leon (three names combined with Madonna’s single name averages out, I guess...).
There is currently no timeline for the release of her next record. Her last record was 2008’s ‘Hard Candy’.
