The new Michael Bolton album will feature a duet with Australia’s Delta Goodrem.
Goodrem and Bolton have recorded “I’m Not Ready” for Bolton’s ‘The Duets Collection’.
Delta isn’t the only Aussie featured on the album. Adelaide’s Orianthi, that young, female guitarist you saw in Michael Jackson’s ‘This Is It’ movie, also appears on the album.
As well as Delta and Orianthi, Bolton has an all-star cast on his new record including Seal, Rascal Flatts, A.R. Rahman and Chris Botti.
"It was an incredibly rewarding experience recording this album," says Bolton. "The opportunity to work with legendary talent like David Foster, Dan Huff, A.R. Rahman and some of the absolute greatest singers and recording artists in the entire world was inspiring. I can't wait to share the special music we all created with the world."
Producer David Foster put it all together including the idea for Bolton and Seal to combine the classics ‘When A Man Loves A Woman’ and ‘It’s A Man’s, Man’s, Man’s World’ into one song. "I woke up at 6 AM one morning with the idea that these two songs could go together, with these two great voices from different genres, and they embraced it,” he said in a statement. “This is a powerful, powerful moment. It's a real shootout, and it's impossible to say who wins, because they're both so amazing."
‘The Duets Collection’ will be Michael Bolton’s 21st album. It will be released on June 21.
