Violent Soho have had to pull out of their current tour with Jebediah due to illness in the band.
A message at the band’s Myspace reads:
“It's with huge disappointment that we have to cancel our performances scheduled for Melbourne and Geelong this weekend. Due to some heavy illness in the band, it's just impossible for us to make these performances happen. We would like to extend our deepest apologies to those who were intending to come to either of these 3 shows. We hate to disappoint or inconvenience anybody, however this is just unavoidable for us. It's always the worst feeling to have to cancel a show. As a band we are really bummed that this has happened.
“Jebediah are still playing of course, so get on down to the show and see one of Australia's true legends of the 90s in action.
“This is not going to effect any other shows we have coming up. We are definitely going ahead with the remainder of the tour dates as planned. You can get a listing of shows we currently have coming up on our profile page. We promise to be back to Melbourne and Geelong as soon as we can, with aim to do some all ages dates as well. Till then.... 4122”
The shows affected are May 5 and 6 at the Corner Hotel in Melbourne and May 7 at the Bended Elbow in Geelong.
The next scheduled show for Violent Soho is May 25 at the Beach Rd Hotel in Sydney.
