Jason Derulo will release his second album in the third quarter of this year.
The US pop star has anointed the new record ‘Future History’ and will release the album on his own Beluga Heights label through Warner Music.
The first single ‘Don’t Wanna Go Home’ will be released next week. It was co-written and produced by The Fliptones.
“In the midst of all the turmoil in the world, I wanted to create a song that made you forget your problems," Derulo says in a statement. "So escape home, forget reality, and live it up!"
Jason Derulo had three hit singles off his debut self-titled album. ‘Whatcha Say’ was 3x platinum and ‘In My Head’ and ‘Ridin’ Solo’ did 2x platinum.
