Motley Crue’s Nikki Sixx is a hit with bookworms. Sixx has been pulling crowds of up to 2000 to his book signings.
The Crue bass player recently released ‘This Is Gonna Hurt: Photography and Life Through The Distorted Lens of Nikki Sixx’ and then hit the road to talk it up.
Sixx says, “It’s been a game changer to see kids at the signings crying and their parents saying thank you. They’ve told me the book has had a positive influence on their lives. It inspires me every day to get up and do better.”
Pat Boyer at Bookends in Ridgewood, New Jersey has hosted book signings by Hilary Clinton and Lance Armstrong and says the Nikki Sixx book signing is one of his biggest.
‘This Is Gonna Hurt: Photography and Life Through The Distorted Lens’ debuted at no. 4 on the New York Times bestsellers list.
