Professional celebrity Paris Hilton is suing to close down the ParisExposed website for what her lawyers call "one of the most reprehensible invasions of privacy ever committed."
The website emerged when its owners came in possession of a number of Hilton's personal belongings after they were handed over by the owners of a storage company, who claim the heiress failed to pay her bills. It is said to feature everything from the sordid (explicit videos and revealing diaries) to the banal (business contracts and medical records).
"This action seeks to enjoin perhaps one of the most single egregious and reprehensible invasions of privacy ever committed against an individual," Hilton's lawyers said, with the 'Stars Are Blind' singer adding, "I was appalled to learn that people are exploiting my and my sisters' private personal belongings for commercial gain."
