Motley Crue singer Vince Neil plans solo Australian tour.
In recent efforts to resurrect his solo career Neil has found himself on television more than on stage. He was a part of the first season of the z-grade celebrity reality show 'The Surreal Life' in 2003 (and was later married by pastor and fellow cast member MC Hammer) and also appeared on a TV special dubbed 'Remaking Vince Neil'.What really got him back in the game was the Motley Crue reunion of 2005. He has since been performing as a solo artist, playing songs from his two solos albums and, considering the track list of his 2003 'Live At The Whiskey: One Night Only' album, a slew of Crue classics.
The busy man also has the tattoo parlour venture Vince Neil Ink that opened in LA late-2006 and his Motley Cruise, where he hosted Hooters Bikini Contests, cocktail parties, poker and a miniature golf challenge while rockin' on route from Miami to the Bahamas.
Australian fans can catch the decadence at the following dates:
28 March - Sydney University, Sydney
29 March - The Palace, Melbourne
30 March - The Arena, Brisbane
1 April - The Capital, Perth
