It also features appearances by Steve Buscemi, Ted Danson, Susan Sarandon, Stanley Tucci, Rashida Jones, Martin Starr, Will Arnett, Rainn Wilson, Adam Scott, Roman Coppola, Amy Poehler, Jason Schwartzmann, Alicia Silverstone, Laura Dern, Kirsten Dunst, Chloe Sevigny, Maya Rudolph and David Cross.
Don’t believe me that such a star-studded promo is possible? Check out the trailer below:
This will possibly go down in history as the coolest promo video ever to accompany an album. By the way, the album will be the band’s first studio album since 2007’s ‘The Mix Up’ and if you don’t want to count that (after all, it was just an instrumental), you have to go back to 2004’s homage to New York, ‘To The 5 Boroughs’.
The band began work on ‘Hot Sauce Committee Part 1’, but shelved it indefinitely after Adam Yauch (MCA) was diagnosed with cancer.
‘Hot Sauce Committee Part 2’ will be released in the first week of May, 2011. The track listing is:
Make Some Noise
Nonstop Disco Powerpack
