One of the bubbling names on the Australian music scene is Fantine.
Fantine has been getting in our face over the past year with performances at Days Like This, Beck’s Festival Bar, Playground Weekender, Future Music Festival, Golden Plains and as a support to Lupe Fiasco.
She has also been working on her debut album with co-writer, English indie-electro producer Alex Grey.
Fantine has also just completed the video for her debut single ‘Rubberoom’. The clip was directed by Alex Roberts worked created the ‘Magic Fountain’ clip for Art Vs Science.
Fantine was born in Moscow. Her father is Russian and mother Dominican. They moved to Perth when she was a kid. Fantine speaks fluent English, French, Spanish and Russian and credits her multicultural upbringing for her musical diversity.
If you are in Sydney or Melbourne you will have the chance to see Fantine and her band perform this month.
