The Push’s Youth Advisory Committee has produced YACtion, a film about the all ages music scene in Victoria and an insider’s view of Push Over.
As part of National Youth Week, YACtion will be screened in Melbourne at the Brunswick Town Hall on April 7.
The documentary features performances and appearances from Illy, House Vs Hurricane, I Exist, Hunting Grounds and Last Dinosaurs.
Danielle Miles from The Push’s Youth Advisory Committee said in a statement that YACtion is “a documentary to focus on young people in the music industry, how they got there, and why they decided to pursue a career. We hope to help inspire other young people to get involved.”
The launch of the film will take place on Thursday April 7 at 6pm at the Brunswick Town Hall. If you are a musician or work in the music industry and would like to check it out RSVP to push@thepush.com.au to come along.
