Baroque pop kid Patrick Wolf announces details of his fifth album and reveals the first single.
The UK multi-instrumentalist and genre-jumper is preparing his fifth album Lupercalia.
Ptichfork reports that he produced it himself, recording in England, LA, Germany, Spain, and France, enlisting string sections and choral groups along the way.
He also remains a musical polymath, playing ukulele, viola, piano, Moog, timpani drums, dulcimer and guitar on the album.
The eleven-track album will be released through Mercury Records on May 30.
