There is nothing like a good hissy fit to grab some headlines and draw attention to a new record. Chris Brown’s destructive visit to the Good Morning America studios last week and given enough fire to his new record to catapult it straight to number one.
‘F.A.M.E.’ is a sure bet to top the US chart this week, ahead of new records by Jennifer Hudson, The Strokes and Green Day.
Brown should sell more than 250,000 units this week, enough to earn him enough money for a top-up in Anger Management lessons.
Brown went nuts after his Good Morning America appearance after he was asked about his former girlfriend Rihanna, who dumped the thug star after he bashed the crap put of her two years ago.
In media interviews, Brown is now making interviewers sign a legal document to say they will not ask about the interview but Good Morning America did anyway.
In other parts of the world, The Strokes took the number one spot with their forth album ‘Angles’ but Brown’s “publicity” will earn him a US number one this week.
Ironically in Australia this week, Brown’s ‘F.A.M.E’ debuted at no. 3 knocking off Rihanna ‘Loud’.
