Biffy Clyro are hoping to "steal a few tricks" from Foo Fighters when they support them at their UK concerts this summer.
The Scottish 'Mountains' band are set to be the main support act at Foo Fighters' two massive concerts in Milton Keynes Bowl in July and the group - which includes singer and guitarist Simon Neil, bassist James Johnston and drummer Ben Johnston - admitted they will be taking note of how they can improve their own live performances.
They said: "Watching the Foos, I think when you get to see a band night after night you really start to soak it in in a different sort of way and I guess kind of learn from them. You know, they're such a huge band and they put on such a massive show, it will be nice to maybe steal a few of their tricks.
"They've got a real flow to their shows, the Foos, as well you know, they make it as much about the crowds as about them, and I think that's a real talent and an art in itself to make 50,000 people as though every person in that crowd feels special, and I think that's something that we'll try and pick up on, that black magic."
To make their supporting slot even more special, the group admitted Foo Fighters'frontman Dave Grohl's former band Nirvana was the reason they became musicians.
Speaking to Absolute Radio before their Teenage Concert Trust show, they said: "I think Nirvana were the reason I guess we started playing, the first band that made us realize we could maybe play music, you know, so they've just influenced us from day one really."
