New Zealand and Aussie artists join forces at Birrarung Marr over Easter for a great Christchurch benefit concert.
Australians Angie Hart & Blood Red Bird (featuring Tim Heath from The Basics), Cash Savage, Side Show Brides and Engine Three Seven team up with Kiwis Spencer P Jones and Julia Dean of Fur Patrol to benefit those trying to rebuild following the tragic Christchurch Earthquake.
This is merely the first announcement of acts for the 2011 Christchurch Quake Relief Concert, which will take place on Easter Sunday April 24, at the riverside Birrarung Marr Park right next to Federation Square in Melbourne.
It will run from afternoon until evening and every cent of the proceeds will be going to the 2011 Red Cross New Zealand Earthquake Appeal.
Tickets go on sale from Wednesday 30 March and check www.quakerelief.com.au for updates.
