A traffic accident has resulted in the hospitalisation of My Disco frontman Liam Andrews and the band cancelling some shows.
A note from the Melbourne art-rockers reads: “It's with great regret that we have to announce some cancellations for our upcoming Australian tour. Last week Liam was involved in a traffic accident and was rushed to hospital for surgery. He is now in recovery, which is slow and painful.”
Their forthcoming April tour dates in Sydney, Geelong and Canberra shows have been cancelled, but their Melbourne, Perth and Newcastle shows will go ahead as planned.
The band will be trying to get healthy for their forthcoming US and European dates that begin at the end of April.
We wish Liam all the best in his recovery.
