The Foo Fighters charity gigs in Auckland and Brisbane sold out in minutes, but there are more tickets on the way.
The exclusive shows, which will benefit the victims of the Christchurch earthquake and the Queensland floods respectively, were sold out in double-time.
Michael Gudinksi of Frontier said the Auckland show “sold out within minutes on Friday” and the Brisbane tickets were snapped up within 15 minutes this morning.
In an effort to deter scalping, there will be another release of 200 tickets for the Brisbane show this Friday 24 March from 9am.
You Am I and Cloud Control will support at the Riverstage but there’s still time for bands to pitch themselves as be the opening act.
Bands who’d like to join the bill should send a link to their music in an email to info@frontiertouring.com.au with “Brisbane: Foo Fighters Submission” as the subject. Applications close at midnight tonight.
