Country-artist-turned-rockabilly-queen Rosie Flores is touring through Australia
The Austin, Texas rockabilly star is back in Australia for the first time in twelve years, capitalising on the renewed love of rockabilly gals like Wanda Jackson and Janis Martin.
She’s showcasing songs from her most recent studio album Girl Of The Century, with bassist Rock Plant (who has performed with Wilco and Buddy Miller) as well as Melbourne drummer Ash Davies.
Fresh from a transcendent set at last weekend’s Port Fairy Folk Festival, Austin Music Hall Of Famer Flores will hit up festival and club dates up and down the East Coast over the next three weeks.
