The Darkness, who comically took the world by storm in the early 2000s, look like they might be getting back together.
A new website has been created at theactualdarkness.com which features little more than a newsletter signup and the band’s logo on a starry backdrop and singer Justin Hawkins recently tweeted “Darkness actual news coming soon!”, which is a big step from last year’s tweets saying the band reforming was “essentially horse shit.”
The Sun also reports that the Hawkins brothers Dan and Justin have kissed and made up after a long-standing dispute between them.
The band split up in 2006. Justin Hawkins released a solo album while the other members rearranged themselves into a band called ‘The Stone Gods’.
Time will tell whether this ridiculous band will ever hit the stage again.
