"Rogue's Gallery: Pirate Ballads, Sea Songs & Chanteys" is an album of Sea Chanteys sung by some of modern music's biggest stars.
Lou Reed, Jarvis Cocker, Antony (of Antony and the Johnson's fame), Bryan Ferry, Nick Cave, Ed Harcourt, Jolie Holland, Joseph Arthur and for the first time ever, U2's Bono as a solo artist will put their spin on some traditional tunes.The album was conceived by Johnny Depp, who plays Captain Jack Sparrow in the hugely successful Pirates of the Caribbean movies. His character is modeled on Keith Richards, who will appear in the third movie, which is currently in production.
